Almost 3 years ago today, the idea for Delta Performance was born. Little did we know that starting our own gym and business would lead to us growing into the person our next chapter in life needed. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and if you trust the process you will find something better is waiting for you.

Delta Performance is not just a gym. It’s a culture we strived to build and we have succeeded in doing just that. Our goal was to provide a safe, positive, and supportive place for our athletes to train at and become a better version of themselves. We were not for everyone, but everyone who came to us ultimately grew and gained so much more than their weight loss goal. I am very proud of our athletes and how much they have grown as people. Every one has become stronger not just physically but mentally and emotionally too! We could not have done this solo but as a team.

Our team was one of a kind. Dee and I could do anything together because we balanced each other. Where I was weak, she was strong and vise versa. We support each other not just in business but as friends too. We have worked hard to build Delta Performance to what is today, networking with some of the best in the area, and providing quality training for our athletes. It was important to us to give back to the community that has welcomed us and our business to the Akron/Fairlawn/Copley area, and we are truly grateful for the connections we have made along the way.

But Delta Performance provided more than just a place for us the train clients and athletes, it was a place of growth for both Dee and myself. We have grown into some badass women and are both finding our passions we want to pursue in our next chapter in life. Dee will be pursuing a career in Firefighting, as she continues to find her passion in helping people and staying true to her roots from her military experience. And as for myself, I will be continuing personal training as a solo enterpenur, which I would have never ventured to do without ever starting Delta Performance.

With these new adventures on the horizon, we have come to a very hard and emotional decision to sell Delta Performance. It is time for us to end this chapter and to begin anew; as the saying goes, ‘You can’t not ride two horses with one ass.” We would like to be able to sell Delta Performance to someone who will carry on our dream with just as much passion as we started it, rather than closing our doors.
